All of Riverside Furniture’s woods are picked from red and white oak, ash, poplar and pine. All are hardwoods and the preferred woods of many cabinetmakers for centuries for their strength, durability and beautiful grain.

How It’s Made

Located in Russellville, Arkansas, is Riverside Furniture’s domestic lumber plant; and that is where it all begins.

All rough lumber brought to the plant is first graded to determine if it meets Riverside Furniture’s tough furniture making standards. From there, the lumber is then kiln dried to remove moisture to prevent splitting. From there, the wood is sent to one of three manufacturing plants in Fort Smith, Arkansas where the lumber is cut, pieced and formed into one Riverside Furniture’s many furniture pieces. And that’s putting it simply.

Riverside Furniture also buys quality products from other countries that they feel will fit well with Riverside’s own domestically produced products. These global products are produced under the specifications of Riverside Furniture and meet their arduous quality assurance standards.
